Where can I pick up my badge?

Can we bring our filming and/or photography crew to Consensus?

Sponsors are allowed to bring film and photography crews to Consensus but must follow the below guidelines:

• Film crews are only allowed to capture in the sponsors booth and meeting rooms (as applicable), they are prohibited from any of the content stages. All stages are being captured by Consensus and any photos or video will be available post-event upon request
• If you plan to capture content in your booth or meeting room, please keep the equipment to the allocated footprint you are provided. Please do not place equipment outside the allocated booth and/or meeting space.
• Your film or photography supplier must provide a Certificate of Insurance naming Coindesk, Inc. and the Austin Convention Center as additionally insured.

How do our stand builders and booth workers get access to the expo hall?

Crew Wristband
Load-in / Load-out Crew receive Crew Wristbands. Pick up from Exhibitor Service Desk, May 26th & 28th, in the pre function area outside of Exhibit Hall 5 in the Austin Convention Center. Credentials must be picked up by the Sponsor/Exhibitor or EAC point-of-contact. For access on the show floor outside of Exhibition Open hours, sponsors and any working crew must visibly wear appropriate credentials.

Can I have more comped tickets to Consensus?

Within your sponsorship Block you receive a certain amount of complimentary tickets. If you would like to purchase more tickets, please use your discount code found in the Sponsor Portal Home Page.

Do I need to have a COI if I am not exhibiting

Yes, per your sponsorship contract, all sponsors need to have a COI. If you need to acquire one, you can from our partner at this link here

How much swag should I bring? Do you have a preferred US-based vendor?

We cannot advise on how much swag you should purchase. If you would like to ship your swag in advance please follow the Material Handling instructions from Freeman. All swag must be approved by CoinDesk, so please send a mockup of your swag prior to ordering.

Is there storage on site at the convention center?

There is no on site storage, but you do have a storage cabinet if you have a turnkey booth. If you need storage, please talk to your sales person about upgrading to an enhanced booth or Freeman for accessible storage at the ACC.

Will we receive an attendee list?

We will share a media and attending company list in mid-April. It will be a PII-friendly list and we will only supply the company name, country, job title and industry.

How can I ship items to the show site?

Here are the address and shipping dates. Please include your company name and booth number. Note all shipping is subject to material handling by Freeman and will be billed directly to you post-event.

I just received an email from Freeman that contains a different address than where I shipped my packages. Is this legit or spam?

You do not need to worry about the marshaling yard when it comes to show-site deliveries. Sponsors can deliver from 5/26 onward to the Austin Convention Center show-site address:

If you've already delivered your packages to the advanced warehouse shipping address for arrival by May 20th, your packages will be transported to the ACC prior to load in.

Do you assist with international shipping?

You can use any carrier you prefer, or you can contact Freeman International Shipping to keep all Shipping and local Handling together. The email is International.Freight@freemanco.com and the number is 800-995-3579.

Will we have badge scanners at the event?

Yes, you will be able to scan badges through our event app. More details about the event app will be provided in April.

How can I book a hotel block of more than 10 rooms?

Please reach out to Paula at Key Bookings. Include dates, number of rooms and preferred hotel property.

I submitted a speaker request form? When can I expect to hear back?

The programming team is putting together a tightly curated and thought out agenda for this year's Consensus conference. Within this journalistic organization, this is not the quickest process so while the programming team promises to get back to your email please be patient with them as they are reviewing all applications. You are free to follow up directly at speakers@coindesk.com for updates.

What is a promotion offer?

This is an optional field where you can put in a discount or incentive for someone to come visit your booth or event at Consensus

Can I pick up my team's tickets in bulk?

At least 48 hours notice

• All passes in their sponsorship are registered for, As we can't print a QR code without each person's info

Will the wifi at the Convention Center be sufficient?

The ACC does not offer secure wifi networks or the ability to carve off wifi bandwidth for exhibitors. Austin Convention Center has pretty robust wifi coverage but we would highly recommend a hardline drop for any secure / dedicated internet needs. If you have a wifi router, you can set up your own network off the hardline drop.
