Umar Ahmed is a Canadian Tech entrepreneur, software engineer, and designer. He is currently the CTO and co-founder of ChainPatrol, a real-time security network for Web3 communities. Umar has led the development of advanced AI threat detection systems, designed novel threat analysis and reporting tools, and built a world-class team of engineers at ChainPatrol. Umar received global recognition for his web development and software design in the NY Times, CBS Evening News, and the Globe and Mail. Graduating from the University of Toronto with a degree in Computer Science, Umar started his career as a Full Stack Software Engineer at Top Hat and later at Together Software (YC 2019).
