Seth Wilks recently joined the IRS as Executive Director of Digital Asset Strategy and Development, bringing extensive experience from his tenure as a key leader at TaxBit, a digital asset tax and accounting SaaS company. There, he built a world-class subject-matter expert team, lead government relations and policy efforts, and collaborated closely with the product and engineering teams. With more than 18 years of progressive tax experience, and six years focused on digital assets, Seth has been able to make an immediate impact on the regulatory and guidance efforts at the IRS. Seth is a CPA and holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Accounting from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University.
