Scott Onder is the Chief Investment Officer of Mercy Corps where he leads the agency's global strategy for impact investing, crypto and blockchain initiatives, and partnerships with emerging technology ventures. Scott is the Co-Founder & Managing Director of Mercy Corps Ventures, an impact venture capital fund, where he has invested in 50+ high-impact crypto, fintech, and climate tech startups developing solutions in emerging markets. He oversees the Crypto for Good Fund and Crypto Humanitarian Lab which fund and pilot test real-world use cases for crypto solutions in frontier markets. Scott is an early investor in Goldfinch, Warbler Labs, Ejara, Open Forest Protocol, Epoch, Wasoko and Umoja Labs. He is active on the boards of portfolio companies and angel invests in emerging crypto protocols. He is based in the Pacific Northwest.
