Rob is a General Partner at Blockchange Ventures. He is a member of the Investment Committee and leads our new investment efforts. Rob began his career in the earliest days of the consumer internet, having joined perhaps the very first “metaverse” software start-up in 1994. From there he spent 25 years helping lead and build a variety of consumer and business-to-business internet and ecommerce efforts. This included being part of McKinsey & Co’s initial Internet practice where he helped global media and retail businesses with their initial online efforts. He later ran many of the businesses at GSI that ultimately formed the core of Fanatics and went on from there to hold digital leadership roles across retail, travel, analytics, and system integration.
