Phil Kelly serves as the Head of Business Development at o1Labs, a pioneering company dedicated to advancing infrastructure and application-layer zk technology. o1Labs built the Mina protocol, the world's first recursive zk-based L1, launched o1js as a SDK for building zk applications offchain, and are currently building a zkVM for Optimism’s fault-proof engine.
Phil specializes in zk use case development, spanning both privacy (e.g., private voting, games, identity) and general verifiable offchain computation / co-processing (e.g., market data oracles). Prior to o1Labs, Phil led business development for ConsenSys in the Americas, working with franchises such as MetaMask and Infura. Earlier parts of his career spanned Financial Services (including a spell in central banking) and Tech (including AI, Security, Cloud and Hyperconverged Infrastructure).
