Mario Di Dio is the GM of Network at Nova Labs, overseeing the lifecycles of network products contributing to the Helium network. He drives the roadmap for future Nova Labs technologies, focusing on communication standards like LTE, 5G, and Wi-Fi to enhance end-user connectivity and service provider efficiency. Prior to Nova Labs, Mario held key roles at Kyrio and CableLabs, leading research and development for cable industry network technologies. He co-created the first commercial SDR platform for LTE deployment at Artemis Networks and contributed to research projects for the European Space Agency and the European Union. Mario holds a BSc, MSc, and PhD in telecommunications engineering from the University of Pisa, Italy, and an Executive MBA from the University of Denver, USA. He is a prolific author of scientific papers, book chapters, and holds multiple patents.
