Jess is the CEO of WalletConnect, the web3 communications protocol enabling interoperability between wallets and dapps across chains. Having been integrated by over 500 wallets and 6,000 apps, it facilitates millions of end-user connections each month. Today, it is also empowering developers to build engaging web3 experiences with a suite of SDKs: Web3Modal, Web3Wallet, and the recently launched Web3Inbox app that facilitates human-readable message delivery between apps and users.

Jess joined WalletConnect in September 2023 first as COO And later as CEO. Previously she led Crypto at Checkout.com, a global fintech company with over 1,700 employees and 19 offices around the world. She worked with some of the world’s most innovative companies and established global brands to simplify financial complexities, drive innovation and unlock growth by providing solutions to digital payment problems. Prior to this she was Chief of Staff scaling the business from Series A through Series D.

With a multidisciplinary background across finance, private equity and blockchain technology. Jess was also a member of the Bank of England CBDC Engagement Forum and a member of UK Finance New Digital Money Steering Group, Innovate Finance Fintech Strategy Group and Department for International Trade Fintech Group. She has been in the crypto space since 2015. Jess holds an MA in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford and an MA in Art Business from Sotheby's Institute of Art.
