Jeffrey Edell is the Chairman & CEO of MeWe. In his role, he negotiated a partnership with McCourt Global to migrate 20MM users to Web3 utilizing the Frequency parachain. Edell was the Chairman of Intermix Media (founding parent of MySpace), which was sold to Newscorp in 2005.
Edell served as CEO of Soundelux Entertainment, which was sold to private equity in 2001, and won 5 Academy Awards and 50 Emmys for movies such as Gladiator, and Braveheart, among others. He was named Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year in 2000 in the Entertainment category and is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences (Oscars), the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (Emmys), and the Producers Guild of America. He obtained his CPA while working at KPMG.
