Foster Wright is the President of CoinDesk. He is responsible for the commercial activities for CoinDesk’s events and media businesses.
Prior to joining CoinDesk, he was a Senior Executive Director at Institutional Investor where he launched RIA Intel. Prior to that Foster was the President of Inside ETFs and Global Head of Sales for ETF.com. He also held the positions of SVP and Publisher of Asset International where he launched and ran the PLANADVISER franchise as well as the conferences business.
Earlier in his career, Foster worked and lived overseas in Hong Kong. Foster was the CEO and owner of FinanceAsia and AsianInvestor in Hong Kong for 10 years before successfully selling the business to Haymarket (UK) in 2005.
Foster graduated from Colgate University with a B.A. in English Literature and was Co-Captain and Regional All American of the Patriot League Champion men’s soccer team.
