Dan Albert is the Executive Director of the Solana Foundation, working towards the mission of decentralization, security, and adoption of the Solana blockchain and its community. Prior to joining Solana, he spent five years at Qualcomm, where he built test automation for 4G and 5G wireless systems. His time there sharpened his expertise in wireless technologies and their application in modern communications. Dan also spent a tenure with the U.S. Antarctic Program supporting scientific research missions by installing and operating radio communication equipment at remote sites throughout Antarctica. With extensive experience in wireless, electronics, and software realms, Dan continues to drive innovation and champion the seamless integration of blockchain technology into the lives of individuals worldwide.
