Collins Belton is the managing partner of Brookwood P.C., a boutique law firm specialized in representing early and growth stage startup founders and venture capital investors with a particular emphasis on cryptocurrency and blockchain-based enterprises. He frequently serves as outside general counsel for his clients, advising them on regulatory and product matters in addition to standard corporate traditional venture financing matters. Collins has worked across a range of blockchain sectors, including advising some of the leading decentralized exchanges, money market protocols, lending protocols and protocols innovating on other exotic asset structures. Collins is also an avid user and contributor to several DeFi protocols. Prior to his time at Brookwood P.C., Collins served founders and investors as an attorney at Wilson Sonsini and Atrium LLP.
