Akhil Vajjhala is a recent NYU Stern graduate and the co-founder of Moira Labs. His interest in cryptography and blockchains grew from his vision of how digital asset ownership could uplift marginalized communities in India. He pursued his passion by learning about crypto through his work in digital asset audit, Polygon DeFi, and EY's Blockchain Group. At Stern, Akhil studied finance, mathematics, and computer science and, as the President, grew the NYU Blockchain & Fintech Club to a community of 250+ people that worked on projects at Ava Labs, Injective, Polygon, Farcaster, and many more! Akhil co-founded Moira Labs, an indie game studio building a strategy card game called “The Lost War”. His interests are in web3 gaming, real-world assets, zero-knowledge technology, and enterprise infrastructure.
